PARTICIPATE IN SHAPING OUR PUBLIC ART
Heavy is incredibly excited to be curating and developing the public art for the new Scotia Place Event Center in Calgary, with our partner LeuWebb and in collaboration with the Scotia Place Project Committee.
This is a key project for the City of Calgary and we are proud to be a part of such a defining, city building effort in our own backyard.

We are inviting artists, creative professionals, community members, and residents of Calgary and members of the Treaty 7 Nations, Metis Nation, and the Urban Indigenous Community to join our Public Art Selection Committees to help evaluate and select public art projects for Scotia Place.
One committee will draw from members of the Treaty 7 Nations, Metis Nation, and the Urban Indigenous Community to review two Indigenous-focused art opportunities, and a second committee will review two additional art opportunities.
Your voice and expertise will help shape meaningful and inspiring public art for this transformative space!
