Our Approach
Heavy was brought on to develop this project for Armour Group and bring to life the vision of MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects to make this prime Halifax location unforgetable.
The Opportunity
The Queens Marque is a world class project that will be an icon of the Halifax waterfront. Citizens and visitors will see this every day when the visit the waterfront.
The Light Chocks are two glowing light boxes consisting of Fresnel Lenses, similar to lenses once used in lighthouses. They create a dramatic feature at the entrance to the Muir Hotel.
For Light Chocks, Heavy was in charge of several aspects including detailed design, mock-up development, materials procurement, fabrication, install, among many other scopes.
