The Heavy team is thrilled to have been part of the planning, development and construction of the bold new Platform Innovation Centre & Parkade located in the heart of one of Canada's most architecturally unique and fast developing downtown city-centres.
The Opportunity
Heavy facilitated the development process of the parkade's unprecedented building cladding, ultimately culminating in the build and install of this extraordinary feature. Through our experienced team, Heavy was able to provide predictability and efficiencies right out of the gate - while offering early solutions to anticipated challenges along the way. Our unique PLAN—BUILD™ process is tailored for complex creative projects just like this.
For Heavy's scope of work on the Platform Calgary project, our team worked closely with designers 5468796 Architecture Inc., Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning and general contractor EllisDon to ensure the vision was maintained throughout every stage of the project.
