A gathering place for community.
Like a stand of aspen trees — a species that’s usually the first to take root in an emerging forest — this installation represents the residents of the Carrington community, the first to make their home in the new development.
The Opportunity
To bring the client’s bold vision to life and help eliminate the blind spots.
The Approach
Heavy worked with the client and the designer to ensure concepts were vetted for budget, scope, and materials. Collaborating to produce detailed concepts rapidly, maintain the intent for the space and fit the scope of the project.
Once the initial concept was developed, an iterative feedback cycle was kicked off to further explore the critical nuances of the entrance feature.
